Tych 6 albumów to sześć różnych muzycznych opowieści, ukazujących mój stan napięć twórczych w ostatnich dziesięciu latach. Podstawową zaletą tego Boxu jest mozliwość sięgania do płyt z różnych okresów ich powstawania. To niesamowite dla mnie uczucie, kiedy mogę wyjąć z jednego pudełeczka tak różne w brzmieniu i artystycznym podejściu płyty jak choćby „Pawlik/Lutosławski – Inspirations” i na zupełnie innym biegunie estetycznych doznać „Misterium Stabat Mater”. W tego typu kompilacji moich nagrań widzę swój często intuicyjny proces tworzenia, jako wędrówkę po wielu zakamarckach wyobraźni. Być może to jest najistotniejsza cecha mojej muzyki, jej wielowątkowość i niezamierzona często polifonia pozornie odległych od siebie gatunków. (Włodek Pawlik)
These 6 albums are like 6 different musical stories that reflect my state of creative tensions over the last ten years. The primary asset of this collection is the opportunity to present records from various periods of my musical output. It’s an extraordinary feeling for me that albums that seem to be worlds apart in terms of aesthetics, sound and artistic approach, such as, on one hand, „Lutosławski/Pawlik – Inspirations” and „Misterium Stabat Mater” on the other, can be found in one box. Looking back at these records I trace my sometimes merely intuitive process of creation as a wandering between different areas of my imagination. Perhaps this is the most distinctive feature of my music – its diversity, and often unwitting polyphony of seemingly distant genres. (Włodek Pawlik)
